Privacy notice

What the arena keeps

Mental Magic stores your email address, player name, securely hashed password, session records, wizard profile and image, matchmaking choices, match actions, match outcomes, and moderation or security records needed to operate the game.

How game data is used

Your submitted spells, current fight state, and selected portions of the fight chronicle are sent to OpenAI’s API so the referee can resolve each round. Public player profiles expose the player name, living wizard name, image, backstory, and recorded slayings to other signed-in players.

Security and retention

Passwords are not stored in readable form. Account sessions use protected cookies. Match and wizard history may be retained to preserve the game ledger, prevent abuse, and maintain rankings. Retired wizards are removed from the living profile but their historical match records may remain.

Your choices

Do not place private or sensitive information in spell names, wizard names, backstories, or images. Account export, correction, and deletion requests can be handled by the site administrator while the service is in its launch period.
